Your hypnotist has given you a new mantra, focused on their happiness.

* * *

“Making you happy makes me happy.” You said, looking up at your hypnotist.

They leant down, one hand taking hold of your chin. “That’s what I love to hear, puppet. Tell me again.”

“Making you happy makes me happy.” The words spilled easily from your mouth.

“Again.” Their grip tightened momentarily, eyes boring into yours.

“Making you happy makes me happy.” The words sounded so right. So perfect coming from your lips.

“Each time you say it, it becomes more real. Each repetition solidifies it as the truth. Again.” They were smiling.

“Making you happy makes me happy.” Your eyes didn’t leave theirs, and you could feel the way it was affecting your mind. Your thoughts were beginning to flicker and waver.

“So very weak. So very helpless. Keep repeating, puppet. Over and over again, in your mind.” They said.

You continued to feel your mind faltering as their gaze continued to hold your own. “Making you happy makes me happy.” They nodded, smiling, as you spoke. “Making you happy makes me happy.”

“Each repetition takes you deeper, sweetie.” They said, words tugging at your thoughts.

“Making you happy makes me happy.” Your eyelids fluttered. “Making you happy makes me happy.” Your body sank a little, but their hand on your chin held you upright. “Making you happy makes me happy.” It felt so good to say it, this new mantra. “Making you happy makes me happy.”

You wanted to please them. And, as they smiled, you knew you were pleasing them. “Such a good puppet for me. So eager. So willing. Saying your mantra makes me happy. So, keep saying it, plaything.”

“Making you happy makes me happy.” Your mind sang. You wanted to please them more.
