So far that's really.a piece of art! I really love the attention to detail! Really well written! I wonder how a meetup with her parents or her former friends would unfold after her transformation 😁

Lovely! I think the advantage of longer stories is the time to develop transformations past the physical stage and deal with mental changes as well. I love how Hanna is slowly but steadily swayed into Islam. With a name change and a conservative husband she'll be ready for life as a muslim stay-at-home mother. Perhaps even a language-change would be possible...

Yeah, "Veiled" was right up my alley. I think the main difference would be her inner struggle with her newfound religion and the conflict it causes within her family and with her friends. A language change (or just gaining an accent) would definitely add to this scenario 😁🤘🏻 can't wait for more!

Re-reading this, seeing as Amina is effectively Hanna’s “supervisor” now, wouldn’t it be “unfortunate” if she decided that Hanna should prioritize marriage over work, and took away that income option, in the future..? Just a thought, which you may have already been considering, anyway!
