Hello everyone!

I hope you had an amazing week, and I'm so excited to post another gallery today.

Someone recently requested that I post more of my photography work, and I honestly think it's an awesome idea. I am going to start adding atleast one photo set a month to my roster. I hope that's okay with everyone!

This set comes from the gorgeous cliffs of South Downs National Park off the southern coast of England with my beautiful friend and model Chicory (instagram.com/x_chicory)

I have another set with Chicory on my Patreon as well, which you can find here! ----> https://www.patreon.com/posts/rachel-dashae-x-13931619

This day was absolutely incredible and I got so many amazing shots of Chicory. I think these photos are some of the best photos I have ever taken. I'm literally in awe every time I look at them! I can't believe I got to make this art with my friend, and be so moved by it.

We came from London from a train to Brighton, we wandered Brighton which was really awesome! We ate tacos (which are insanely expensive in England) and explored the cloudy streets, but Brighton is a bright and vibrant city, much different than London. We finally figured our way out to an area we wanted to be, so we headed to the bus and took the bus down to a small park not very far from Brighton to see go to these white cliffs.

Well, when we arrived, it was not what I thought it would be. There were tourists, walkways, and guardrails. The water was blocked off, and even some of the rocks had graffiti on them. It was basically a mess. I almost thought about trying to make the most of it, but then decided that I NEEDED more out of this trip. I wanted to find the perfect white cliffs I had seen in photos! There are of course places like the three sisters along the coast of england and dover. All of them were further than I expected, so someone told me about how you can get to them from Brighton, but.. I already explained, it was a dump haha.

So we headed back to the bus, and started talking to an older man who was a kite sailor! He loved that I was American haha. Chicory was my "cultural translator" of sorts, and we started asking him if he knew where there were any good cliffs. He told us about an area close to where we were and he was actually heading there now because the waves were good over that way, so he told us he would show us the way! European adventures through and through haha. So we got off the bus at the New Haven stop, and the adventure had just started. We said goodbye to our new friend and wandered the cliffs of this beautiful area. Just spectacular. I felt so privileged to see nature that North America just can't provide. These white, smooth, chalky cliffs are British. The Channel smelled different to me. The rocks were smooth, rough, and shiny. The grass was tall, shiny emerald green, with the biggest dandelions I had ever seen. The water was a deep blue and white.

Chicory and I collaborate so well. She is one of my favorite models I've ever worked with. She moves perfectly and we inherently soul sisters. We have an instant vibe, and I've never made such good friends with someone so quickly. She is real, deep, and whimsical. A perfect, kind, and like I said REAL soul. I couldn't have picked someone better to have such an adventure with. We laughed, never complained, and found fruit in every aspect of our trip. I love days like this.

We even got lost getting back to Brighton, and by the time our hike up and down cliffs, and walking the quiet streets of New Haven, it was dark. We got some delicious vegan food and drinks at a pub, and even talked to some locals! (Oh Europe) We got back to London late, the lights felt like they were burning me inside after a day of the calmness of nature.

I love these photos, and I hope you do too! Posting this has made me so excited to go back to Europe next month!
