Self Portrait - Death Valley National Park - (Patreon)

Hello everybody!

I have another beautiful self portrait set to share with you guys and I'm so excited about this one! It was taken in one of my most favorite places in the entire world, Death Valley National Park. 

Death Valley is a place that feels filled with secrets. These monumental rocks and valleys were built by waters long ago, and they turned into a harsh desert that killed and maimed everything near by. It is open and wonderous. It makes me believe in something spiritual, with it's variety of colors, shapes, and peaks. There are so many different types of desert in this park too. There are badlands (which are pictured in this set), a basin that is a salt flat that is below sea level, slot canyons, sand dunes and mountains. It makes you just wonder, what the hell happened here. It's wild and is everything nature has to offer. 

I took these photos in the beautiful Badlands area of the park. I love the dense colors of irons, and the fingers that have shaped from the harsh landscape in order to survive. I love to climb through and adventure through these landscapes so much, you can get lost in the jumps and falls and runs. I admire this part of the park, for it's dense beauty. 

I was on the trip with my friends, and this is a part that we would visit a few times in the same day, because the way the sun moves around is so incredible. The shadows that the landscapes make are one of a kind. We laughed and echoed through the canyons, and saw wild life together and everything. It was such a fun day!
