Self Portrait - Pahrumpf, NV - (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

I have another super cool self portrait set from the desert of Nevada to share with you! 

Pahrumpf (the best name for a town ever) is settled right on the border of California, basically touching Death Valley. It has a lot of scenic roads, haunted hotels, and even a few dilapidated buildings that they lovingly call ghost towns. They are little old buildings from the gold rush era, but there didn't seem to be any ghosts around haha. 

This is very close to one, but I am a bit more into nature than buildings, let's be honest haha. I did find some cool old rusty cans though (just like you see in the movies!) I was constantly finding awesome little spots that seemed to show the scenery in all of it's glory. You can literally stand in any direction in this beautiful area, and be completely surrounded by mountains. 

We drove right by here a lot on our way to Death Valley from Las Vegas. We scoped out a lot of this area and a lot of it is really cool and old. If you ever have a chance to discover these out of the way places, you will never be disappointed. It's very old west, americana, original state the world seems to be in, even before white settlers. It truly feels like you have gone back in time!
