Hi everyone!

I've been in NYC all week. Oof what a whirl wind! NYC is an amazing place, but it totally exhausts me. The walking around, the people, and the public transport are so intense. I usually last just a few days and then I'm like, yeah, I'm done. Haha.

But it was amazing, I had lots of great shoots, my love Torre Croyle accompanied me and we stayed in a beautiful apartment. The fall weather was thankfully warmer for this time of year. It was perfect.

The set I am going to post today is from my trip to Texas. Kristen Wrzesniewski and I are great friends. We immediately melted into eachother and became extremely close since the first time we met years ago. She's one of my favorite people to collaborate with, and it's easy because we are literally the same person haha.

I love that I get to meet people from all over the country with what I do. It's made me cross paths with people who I may never had the chance to meet, and has created amazing friendships for me.

Kristen and I decided to take a little road trip out to Balcones Canyonlands. It's a park outside of Austin. It was absolutely beautiful. The hills were full of beautiful yellow grass, small pines and twisted trees. The air smelled of dirt and wild flowers. We found a small creek running through the hills and hard, rough ground. The water so pure and clear that the sun was making rainbows on the ridged but smooth ground beneath my feet. The water was warm, and felt cleansing.

Kristen and I wandered the landscape, searching for wild life (it's a wild bird sanctuary as well!) Our giggles and stories of our similar paths and lives filled the soft silence, with no other soul around. Texas, you are beautiful. I am so happy I could create in your beautiful, and rarely appreciated landscape.
