" I met up and shot a beautiful model named Beatriz. I have honestly recommended her to atleast 10 photographers going to Nashville since March. She really is that good. I showed up to her small apartment a couple of streets over from downtown, and her dog greeted me by basically harassing me for the full 15 minutes I was there while picking out outfits and lots of small talk.Beatriz is the cool girl who I wanted to be friends with so bad when I was in my early twenties. She’s tall, fit, funny, witty, her tattoos are impeccable all finished off with cheekbones that could cut someone, a style to die for and a raspy southern voice. I felt weird that she even wanted to be around me. It’s taken me 28 years to be one of the “cool” kids and sometimes I still forget that people actually want to be my friend now. She made me feel strangely validated when she loved my stories, or laughed at my jokes. I blushed time and time again when she would flash those blue eyes at me and smile. Total girl crush.I also loved that it was her birthday the day before, and she had 50 people go out with her on a Monday night. She complained about the tiny bags under her eyes, the fact that she was 25 but barely felt like an adult, and she was hungover. She looked insanely beautiful for being hungover. I hated her but also loved her dedication to shooting with me haha.We strutted around downtown in a few different outfits just clicking away. She’s effortless, seriously. Her cool demeanor is something I wish I could bottle up and sell, or even have on my own. She told me she’s the daughter of immigrants and can speak like three different languages or something like that, and they all moved to Nashville from Los Angeles when she was a child. What’s up with people moving from California to anywhere else? Don’t they know how good they have it? Jesus.Once again, I love strong women. I loved her independence, her professionalism, and most of all her insane sense of humor. Also the girl can fucking dress, it’s crazy to me. She looks good in everything. God I hate her. "

I don't actually hate her at all. Haha. This set is amazing!
