the roach - new video (Patreon)

hey guys! i'm currently traveling, but that doesn't mean I can't give you some content to sink those teeth into. here's what I worked on this week-

this is my new video. the roach. it is about a cockroach that sings. what will happen to him? who knows.

this is me trying to sorta dip my toes into the weird, irreverent green screen stuff that people know me for. i figured this is what the audience probably wants from me, and it's also what i enjoy making more than anything else... so instead of me writing the idea down and going "maybe i'll shoot it someday..." i just did it. hooray!

this is the first video i've shot with my new camera as well, it's a sony fx30 for any camera nerds on here. unfortunately i think i had the ISO set too high while shooting and didn't catch it until afterwards, so the footage is a tad bit overblown. thankfully, that shouldn't be an issue for future vids going forward, and i think i might be able to fix it a little more with some color correction for the main upload. maybe i'll do a vid showing you guys the new cam at some point.

anyways, this video drops on the youtube channel soon along with my big update video. sign up on the $10 tier if you want your name at the end of it.

concerning youtube... i'm nervous to return, but also excited. i think youtube is necessary not only for me to keep growing, but also for my own satisfaction with creating. hopefully we can get in the good graces of the algorithms with the new batch of vids dropping. and hey, even if we don't, i'm having fun again. and thanks in a LARGE part to you patrons, it doesn't matter how good a video does. as long as i have you guys on here, i can afford to make the silly stuff.

you directly funded this whole thing. literally. if you're reading this, i am talking to you. THANK YOU for supporting this stupid shit that i make. i don't know why we find this type of stuff funny, but i'm glad we found each other.

back to work now. new lagFM coming soon, plus a special new commentary show specifically for lagcorp managers ($10 tier). love you guys.
