We're nearing the end and it's really exciting

USG YT

yall, there was actually a post credit scene on this episode

David Morfin

Happy early birthday Lia!! Appreciate all that you do and all the content you guys push out! Enjoy your special day!!

Prashant Deka

Mikasa n Sasha unintentionally impacted lives which turned out to be total opposite to each other. Louisse saw Mikasa killing d titan n learned to fight & joined d Survey Corps. Kaya saw Sasha saving her and decided to help people. Brilliant writing. And I feel, Sasha's chrctr arc actually begins after her death. Never seen anything like it.

Always watch till d end of ED. If u don't see "To Be Continued", keep watching. Cause it means there's a Post credit.

Lia maybe im late but happy birthday!!!

Gabi is probably the BEST written character in AoT. Why? Because she is driving a moral narrative for viewers to explore by just being herself. So yeah, Gabi-Gang REPRESENT!! P.S. Second best is probably KING FLOCH! Also Mikasa acts coldly to Louise because she is a mirror of herself in a way.

kind of yes, if you missed it. There is ONE plot point that would have questions

23:25 Molly I love that you caught that! So "Niku" were her last words and that translates to meat... but now that we know about Niccolo, I believe she was saying his name as her last words :(

@Lia It's not critical but it's important as it explains a scene in episode 12 Try to watch it even off camera

Just so you know, the reason they were evacuating Shiganshina is to use the Wall Titans that surrounded that city as a test of the Rumbling. That way they could scare the world off while still reserving most of the Wall Titans for future use if needed.

Gabi's world view has finally been challenged. The back and forth between Kaya and Gabi in that scene was powerful. AOT voice acting has always been S-tier.

This is the PERFECT TIME to share with you two the song "F*** Gabi (Eren Did Nothing Wrong)" LOLOLOL YOU HAVE TO LOOK IT UP. There are no spoilers lyrics-wise or video-wise because it was written after ep8 when she shot Sasha. A comment about the song in the next reaction or next next would be epic LOL. PLEASE LOL. This show continues to WOW with its story telling. You are totally right when you said that Sasha's death wasn't in vain and that her death story-wise is still paying dividends towards the overall story. Gabi, at this point, was annoying the heck out of me so I totally revisited that annoyance :p You guys are coming up on one of my top AoT episodes so I am super pumped. **I also forgot to say, you mentioned my name once in the Q&A way back. It's just pronounced the way you see it. PH is an F sound, so Fong, but spelled Phong :P No worries. EVERYONE does that to me XD

It's a fun fan theory, but that's all it is. It has no actual basis. In the original japanese manga panel, her text bubble contains the kanji for meat (niku) which looks like this: 肉. Niccolo's name is written ニコロ (nikoro). She was not saying his name.

OMGOSH the writing never ceases to amaze me. I do believe you may be right. She may actually have been trying to say Niccolo's name with her last breath and couldn't but since "niku" is meat, they might have thought since she is a foodie, she was just saying "meat." UGH Isayama is the GOAT!

Polygon

She was not. The original manga text bubble contained the kanji for the word "meat."

Always keep watching if you don't see the "To be continued..." screen and for the very last episode of this show keep watching until you see "The End" screen.

You could spin it the other way though, because "Niko" on its own doesn't have any meaning, so it's kinda weird to have it as Sasha's last word. It's possible that Ishayama decided to make a connection to the word "Niku", to have a double meaning. They're both the things that Sasha loved the most.

The great thing about art is that some of it can be left up to interpretation. And this theory has so much beauty to it.

Wasn’t this the episode with the extra scene ?!?! You guys missed it !

Will

You guys should watch Vinland Saga after this.
