hahha Molly be like I wonder why Jinx's brain is like that? :D Maybe because she killed her two best friends and his surrogate father at the age of 7? :D :D :D and after that she had a serial killer narcissist drug lord as a father.. :D and she thought her sister abandoned her?.. :D I mean do u need more to crack a brain? :D :D

ohh and the guy who Viktor visited is the same guy who was in episode one with the Cat and the Mouse at the end.. he invented schimmer from Rio.. the mutation must survive.. thats schimmer... and he works for Silco...

im weird imma weirdo i don’t fit in

Answers to some of your questions (spoiler-free ofc): - Viktor and Jayce are definitely around the same age but, no, they didn’t grow up tgt. Vik is from the undercity and Jayce from piltover - Heimerdinger’s not immortal but he does live for a VERY long time - Lia u were right, it’s Huck from the bar - Silco gave Marcus the bomb not so he could kill himself but so he could blame the firelights(the green guys on hoverboards), they’re ppl from the undercity against Silco and his reign of terror - The scientist isn’t Silco but he is the guy who was working with him and making shimmer(purple) for him, pumping it OUT of Rio who is the source Great reaction guys!!

League of Legends has over 150 different playable champions, of which Arcane is a story based on a handful of those champions backstory. The story of Arcane was recently proclaimed to be new canon to the lore. So while some parts differ from old lore, it's not altogether unrelated. Also because it's somewhat a retelling of backstories you can't exactly know how it will turn out based on the game. Highly suggest going over some lore videos or watching the cinematics for league after Arcane. The Arcane characters are great, but ultimately some of my favorite characters are either not even mentioned in this series or are only mentioned in very small details that fans of the game might pick up on.

She cannot be serious, why is Jinx's brain like that? Maybe the tremendous amount of trauma from accidentally killing her family, thinking Vi abandoned her and the ideas of vengeance Silco told her is what messed her up, Silco did not do any experiments on her if that's what Molly is thinking. Just to clarify, Silco is NOT a scientist like the guy with the axolotl, that guy invented shimmer, he was in the first episode with Silco experimenting on a rat, Silco is mainly running factories that produce shimmer.

Don't forget the opening scene when she she was 4. The series is started out with her watching a enforcer executing a dude point blank LOL then she finds her dead parents

Correction...this is set in league of legends lore..Yordles are technically immortal. Yordles are by defintion "Immortal spirts" that cannot die. They just respawn in their homeland called "Bandle City." This though is never covered in the series, just longtime league fans that know league universe and lore would know this.

for this story its already finish in the second season.

The hoverboard people are against Silco, Jinx is with Silco so they attacked them

League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. The massively multiplayer online role-playing game MMO(RPG) you're talking about is in the work right now and it's gonna be released in a few years cause they have to create the whole world of Runeterra (the name of the world), and add all races and classes and their designs. It's going to be a HUGE release when it happens. You literally explore the world this show takes place in and it's an open world if you're interested in what the game would be like and the world building then I recommend this popular video titled "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done" Riot is the company that made the games and the show link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ypIpTu3ung&t=165s&ab_channel=Necrit

I also always point back to episode 3 and her breakdown when she is left behind. She was already quite unhinged as a child.

Hi Lia, Molly, and Courtney. I'm going to post a few things so I apologize if they come off spammy. I hope you read your messages but just some background. Firstly Arcane is the introduction to these characters for mostly general audiences and from a league of legends standpoint, fleshing out their characters backstories before we "know" them in the game. It's also Riot's first attempt at doing long form story telling and bringing their characters to life. The main league of legends game (i say main because Riot Games has made multiple other types of genre games based around their characters) is called a "moba - multiplayer online battle arena." To keep it short and simple, the game itself has no story, it's just two teams of human players 5v5 that fight in a big map. The camera is a top down view with 3 lanes, called top lane, middle lane, bottom lane and between each lane and each side there's a jungle. The whole objective of the game is for one team to reach the enemy base and destroy their home base crystal. League of Legends currently consist of 176 champions total but they built a vast and rich world around every single character, basically every champion can be their own protagonist in their own story. The game officially launched back in 2010 and each year is considered a "season" as of this year, ending season 14 and going into season 15. The game is a live service game that still runs on an old engine and when it launched it only had 40 champions and over the years the roster has gotten bigger.

Michael Carlson

Secondly. Arcane season 1 only included a total of 9 champions from the game which are Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Ekko, Viktor, Jayce, Heimdeinger, Singed, and one more I can't reveal for spoiler reasons.

Michael Carlson

Arcane season 1 took 6 years to make and total budget of 100-120 million, basically 10-12 million per episode. Not officially verified but a majority of the budget went to the animation artist roughly 70-90% of the budget and left over was used for voice actors, marketing, sound effects, music, etc. Arcane is officially only two season but due to this massive success, Riot Games has already announced they are working on other long form narrative shows for other regions- Noxus, Demacia, and Ionia.

Michael Carlson

I also recommend a few things, mostly for the league community cause we do appreciate it but also it's just so dang amazing. You should react to "Bridging The Rift - Making of Arcane." It's a 5 part documentary behind the scenes of how Arcane was made, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend reacting to it, it deserves all the love in the world.

Michael Carlson

And here's a good playlist I recommend to save to help with your Arcane withdrawal and learn more about this world after finishing Arcane. The league community is vast and large and we love to see new people willing to learn more about this world. Enter the Freljord - oldest cinematic Cool cinematics -A Twist of Fate (11 years old) -A New Dawn (9 years old) Music videos -Get Jinxed (10 years old) -Warriors (ft imagine dragons ) world 2014 - 9 years old -The Curse of the Sad Mummy - Amumu (9 years olds) -Pentakill: Mortal Reminder Music video Ruinnation event -The Harrowing - Tales of the Black Mist -Senna Dark Passage * -The Climb 2018 -Senna Shadows Embrace Champion Teasers -Bard: Mountain -Ekko Seconds -Warwick” The Wrath of Zaun -Xayah & Rakan: Wild Magic -(watch “THE CALL” before this one cinematic ) -* All that will ever be | Bel’Veth cinematic -Finality: Aurelion Sol champion update Skin Trailers -Project Skins Season trailers (these are considered their top-notch cinematics, they release one trailer every new season of the game typically and usually what most fans wait for each year, even non-league players watch these cinematics -Awaken 2019 -Warriors | Season2020 -The Call | Season 2022 -Still Here | Season 2024 Cool short clips -The Light within - elementalist lux -Annie: origins -Welcome Aboard - Odyssey Animated trailer -“The Path, An Ionian Myth” then “Kin of the Stained Blade” Champion re-work trailers (these are when they make trailers for champions who have been re-worked. League is an on-going game that still runs on an old engine, as of so far they haven’t decided to update the engine, but it’s a live service game. Each year they release new champions, effects, etc. Basically old champs can fall behind from graphics, gameplay, etc. so every season they will re-work a few champs and launch a trailer to tease them) -Fiddlesticks: terror in Demacia Tip for all of these, they should be in the playlist on leagues youtube page and easy to find. I omitted some that are already mentioned. I put * symbol by some because they are best watched in an order. For example, you can find the ruination event if you look up “sentinels of light” - and playlist by timfernix (ironically ruination event is not a playlist on leagues youtube page lol) Start watching all the League of Legends animated music videos: 1) Phoenix 2) Legends Never Die 3) Enemy 4) Rise 5) Breathe 6) K/DA (This is K-Pop music) Then there are the Tales of Runeterra: Noxus Demacia Freljord Bilgewater Don't Mess With The Yordles Ionia Shadow Isles Targon Piltover and Zaun Shurima Then there's the ORIGIN stories and Summoner's Rift Cinematics. Annie Darius Warwick Fiddlesticks Ekko Amumu Xayah and Rakan The Path, An Ionian Myth Kin of The Stained Blade Ryze Call of Power A New Dawn Feeding Frenzy You Really got me cinematic trailer (two newest one's are "blood, Sweat, Tears" & "Heavy is the Crown - Linkin Park Music video") I also recommend "Neacrit" he is a long time youtuber, like 9/10 years who just focuses solely on league content and lore. I recommend "Riot MMO is almost done" as it gives you a simple overview of the land of runeterra and each region.

And I know some people have flamed ya for asking why "Jinx's brain is like that?" But you gotta think about it. First and foremost, her issues have always been there from the beginning, on the bridge scene they show "scratches" which is Powder's way of blocking out bad things or seeing things differently. And episode 3 is always interesting, because it's curious how well "they sold" that she has mental issues to audiences. But she obviously has severe abandonment issues because of losing their parents. Added with her messing up and then getting PTSD. Added with Silco who obviously isn't a morally good character. Now he has his motivations, but he's one of those where the ends justify the means. Jinx is basically her trauma response to all that she has dealt with and it includes Dissociative identity disorder, PTSD, Survivor guilt, and some Psychosis.

David Jørgensen

CRAZY IN THE HEAD!?!? Molly.. Jinx is perfect in any way, you'll see 😡 you will see. All of you aren't confused here btw, everything will be explained next episode.

Norbert Ramirez
>>158287028

Ohh yeah.. that sht too. 😀😀🤣 I forgot about that she saw her dead parents on the bridge..😀🤣

Luii

Viktor’s Mentor is also the scientist that helped develop Shimmer under Silco. The bombing at the beginning of the season is the cause of his now appearance .

Molly Barrett O'Callahan

Regarding her brain - Jinx has been confirmed to have advanced untreated borderline personality disorder (not schizophrenia). A disorder characterized and triggered by fear/trauma of abandonment, polarized beliefs (love or hate, no gray), “splitting” between lucidity and border psychosis, and mild auditory/visual hallucinations. She becomes increasingly frenetic when she believes she will be/is being abandoned, is overly attached to Silco out of fear of abandonment, and her hallucinations spike in those moments. She “splits” when she sees Caitlyn and all of a sudden Vi goes from irreplaceable sister to villain. It’s very textbook and been called a great portrayal by a few psychiatrists/psychologists who’ve reviewed it.

yeah, watching this in 9 weeks.. they will forget what was in episode one by they finish 9.. :D :D
