Have not clicked this fast in my life

Mike Hunt

He wasn't breathing in space, he was taking periodic rest stops at planets and then holding his breath once he took off.

Cesar Vidal

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LAST 4 EPISODE REACTIONS!!!!!!

Dustin Nelson

Might be a good idea to do more than a few episodes at once if you have a mostly free day that lines up

The fact that Nolan even stayed with the Thraxans shows that he views life more preciously. Viltrumites view every other race as insignificant (and Nolan has been alive for thousands of years, hence the “pet” comment bc he loves Debbie but she doesn’t live as long as him). And now the writers have reversed it to where Mark (& the audience bc we follow him) see another race (the Thraxans) as less than, then show a Viltrumite doing the same thing. It all ties back to whether or not Mark “becomes his father” while simultaneously effectively showing that Nolan has completely abandoned the Viltrumite indoctrination (“Stay away from my children,” “You knew the consequences when you had them” and “You deserve death,” “I know” is proof of that).

The outer wilds reference is crazy, ghost matter dangerous 😆

Like Mike Hunt said, Omniman needed to make pit stops on planets with atmospheres to breathe before continuing. People often miss Omniman telling Mark before the big fight that Viltrumite DNA is so pure, Mark is very nearly full blooded Viltrumite. He's more Viltrumite than human. Also, given how their flight functions, creating their own leverage to move, means that once in space and not inhibited by the atmosphere, they can accelerate to fractions of the speed of light if they wanted to, even if they took breaks like Omniman said Mark should do when flying, their momentum doesn't decrease in space. Accelerate, rest, accelerate again to an even faster speed, rest, repeat.

Oh yeah, that grey haired Viltrumite woman with the knife in her hair is voiced by Grey Delisle, the voice actress for Azula from Avater the Last Airbender. She also voices Polly and Betsy(Atom Eve's biological and adoptive moms), Olga, Shrinking Rae, and Monster Girl.

Mark brother will age much faster than humans, but since he is half Viltrumite and their DNA is so pure, he will quickly become near-entirely Viltrumite like Mark and his aging will become equally prolonged.

Nathan C Johnson

and they can still hold their breath for a long time

Love watching y'all go through this series. Plus Molly has a great sense of humor.

Lane

yet another banger reaction, i think it only gets better from here

Omni man can't breath in space either, he just has more experience flying and fighting in space, viltrumites have smart atoms that they can use to do different things, like making their body's oxygen needs low enough to just hold their breath for weeks at a time

The whole thing with Nolan and Thraxa is explained a tad more clearly in the comics (no spoilers, the comics just have a stronger tendency towards exposition). Nolan was telling the truth about not having conquered Thraxa, as Thraxans elect their ruler based on age. The oldest of the planet gets to rule, as they have the most life experience. Because Nolan is somewhere in the ballpark of 2500 years old, the Thraxans did legitimately just ask him to be their emperor. Despite Mark's brother already looking six months old, he is probably less than a month old, possibly as little as 2 weeks, as Nolan probably sent for Mark as soon as his brother was born. Oh yeah, the weird tongue thing Nolan and Andressa did in front of Mark was just a form of greeting in Thraxan society. In the comics Nolan even talks about how he thought the act of kissing (and recreational sex) to be equally as off-putting when he first arrived on earth, but that he learned to just role with it when it comes to alien customs, which gives some interesting insight into Viltrumite culture.

Not Molly getting obliterated every weekend 😭
