FULL LENGTH VERSION of Invincible Season 3 Episode 2!

I can see both sides of the coin, both handled their disagreement quite poorly. Mark letting his naive black and white view of morals dictate his emotions and Cecil letting his fear of Mark turning into omniman 2.0 dictate his actions. Cecil has some very valid points and he’s been keeping the world safe for decades, but what makes me lean towards Marks side a little more is that we see Cecil was exactly like Mark when he was younger with his moral compass. For someone who has been in Marks shoes Cecil’s handling of the situation was awful and probably could have been executed better, and that line of Mark ‘helping his mass murdering dad’ was definitely a provoking jab since he is aware that mark was tricked into going to thraxa. At the end of the day though they need each other whether they like it or not.

Team mark even tho I get both sides. Cecil escalated way more than he needed too he could have just sat down and talked to mark but no he had to get the robots involved. He was so passive aggressive and marks only like 19

Man, I love the escalation between Mark and Cecil's conflict in this episode. It is so perfectly in character for both of them. Cause Mark's idealism and stubbornness suddenly clash with his trust in Cecil completely shattering in a matter of moments. Mark just giving up on this matter was never in the cards but Cecil basically leading him into an ambush changed Mark's view of Cecil into that of a bad guy. And well... Mark makes a living out of stopping who he thinks are bad guys. Meanwhile Cecil, pragmatic and equally as stubborn as Mark suddenly has his worst nightmare, an out of control Viltrumite, right in front of him. Cecil tries to reassert the control he had over Mark in season 2 but his fear pushes him to utilise a failsafe against Mark that escalates things beyond measure. Once the sound device comes into play, this was never gonna resolve peacefully. At the end, Cecil basically tries to assert control over Mark one last time but Mark is so mad beyond measure that he retaliates with a legitimate threat of murder and it's at that moment where Cecil realizes the gravity of how fucked things actually are. I love this episode so much. One of my favorites in the show.

Just have to say that your reactions to Invincible are always a highlight of my day. You guys have a very interesting perspective on the show and even if I don't always agree with your perspectives it's really fun to watch.

Marcmarvelously

just gotta note mark got tricked into helping Nolan. the kid thought he was stopping rocks from falling from the sky whole time it’s 3 viltrumites

Ethan

Damn Mol's cat is a Menace recently ahah, I agree with Courtney it's kinda getting concerning the amount of frequency it's been happening, hope all is well

rikky maravilla

Love that Eve is studying architecture in order to save people more efficiently.. after that incident of the falling apartment, she wants to ensure she can better prepared when the time comes !

Austin

I think Cecil is right, ultimately, but he handled Mark in the worst way possible.

Victor / Gooric

Cecil is clearly a villain, not sure why you guys like him…

Michael

How can you say that after his backstory 😭

Victor / Gooric

His back story showed him becoming a villain. You can be good and save the world.

IMO, Cecil is right but he handled it horribly and escalated the situation when he could have just talked it out with mark, but I absolutely do understand where mark is coming from, in his shoes id probably make the same decisions he did. Also lets be real without mark on the earths side they are fucked, so all this is just stressing out Cecil’s number one asset against the viltrumites. Also, the way mark killed all the reanimen is meant to be the same as when Nolan killed the guardians, the blood splatter patterns and camera angles are very similar

Both Mark & Cecil are right AND wrong. This episode, and the season, shows the pros and cons to both of their viewpoints it’s great

lackluster entertainment

I don't think the quote is trying to say that you can never be good and save the world. It's saying that there are some circumstances where your ethics and morals will be sacrificed to achieve the better outcome. One example is how some very dangerous people cannot be detained/ reasoned with whatsoever and killing them is the only way to guarantee Earth's safety.

Not the biggest fan of this season tbh. This is one of the good episodes but in others I felt there were far too many unnecessary story beats added to pad the time and add "drama".

Folded Ghoul

Imma say what has to be said…if I’m on the guardians I am giving Kate and Rudy hella side eye. She can duplicate herself a bajillion times and he has his robots sooooo why am I mopping when I had my ahh kicked by zombies and the lamest villain in the series? Reporting them both to HR 😭😭

Isaac Brown

you felt wrong lol. everything is setup for future seasons

master blub

This is my favourite season. The story picks up really well and the beef between mark and Cecil is great. Olivers development is amazing and the season finale is the best

lordofcheeks

Characters aren’t black and white. While not a hero he’s also not a villain.

This season has the biggest Invincible finale yet, I can't wait for you to finish it. we got 3 days left till season 4!

Cesar Vidal

2 days left until Season 4!!

Osvaldo

Don’t like Cecil. He reminds to much of Amanda Waller.

Benjamin

my moms cat throws up all the time she even has a little kit for his throw up
