Notably Multi-Paul and Dupli-Kate still feel everything their copies experience (as previously shown when Kate had an orgasm from her copy having shower sex in previous seasons) so while it is theoretically an easy escape to just burst the cell with copies, it takes immense mental resilience for Paul to do that.

A small detail both this episode and episode 2 of the season showed is that Mark's healing factor actually is stronger now as well. The wounds he got from Liu's dragon form healed over the course of like an afternoon. Previously Mark would've spent days in the hospital from an injury like that.

The intensity of the show does return but on the filler comments, I just watched the newest episode of S4 and the filler in it was egregious lol but have faith

I don't get the filler comments. Yeah some episodes are slower and i get that's anoyying but they usually have plot points that effect the story going forward. If we only got viltramite stuff the show would end in like 4 or 5 seasons.

I know a comic reader and he said that there are NO fillers in the show. All of these episodes you call fillers are actually part of the bigger plot.

I've read the comics, albeit a long time ago but I'm familiar with the larger plot and story beats. I enjoy Invincible and know what they're trying to accomplish so that critique falls flat. At times imo, the feature length runtime ends up hurting the show because the pacing stagnates and the animation and story suffers as a result. I understand some episodes really deserve that length but others not so much. Nevertheless, I have faith because I know where it goes and its absolutely amazing.
