This is show is so good with the satire. Ugh I was bummed because of A-Trains death! Pretty poetic arc though for A-Trains story. I absolutely hated him and then he died a hero, and once again saved Hughies life.

When Neuman was killed, she was the VP-elect. Sage leaked the footage of the president-elect talking about killing her when he was being protected from the doppelganger Annie in the bunker. So he was arrested and Speaker Calhoun became the president since that position is second in line to ascend if something happens to the sitting president. Since he was appointed to power, he needed a VP and chose Ashley. Please take another government course. 😂

Ashley was never a politician and was literally about to killed when we last saw her because she knew too much. I guess once she became a supe, Homelander changed his mind lol. But, I think it’s totally understandable for us to be confused at first as to how she became VP from rock bottom last season. Has nothing to do with knowing how our government works. 😭 - Lia

Except it does, because it was explained last season how Calhoun became president. He needed a VP. Doesn't matter that she's not a politician. She's Vought through and through, which is what was wanted. Shouldn't be that confusing if you were paying attention. I figured it out without being super lost. What's the point of graduating from college if you still can't make logical inferences when presented with confusing information?

What in the world is your problem. Did i miss something? Nobody asked why the vice president seat was open, they were wondering why Ashley was the choice, for like 5 seconds. Youre not even pointing to the fact that homelander is a supe supremacist and decided to keep using her after she got V. You started off just being an asshole about "government process" and their education when that doesn't even apply to this conversation.
