I apologize on the delay with Invincible postings! Unfortunately, Molly and Court are very busy and we have had a hard time scheduling filming since we are also reacting to The Boys. I always thought her being the smartest woman in the world wouldn't work as a character. Because if she was then she would have thought of every single possible outcome, including what Soldier boy did. So it just comes off as a plot hole to me.

This is kind of why I hate it when shows introduce a character that's "the smartest", they almost always never demonstrate why they're the smartest and when they do pull something off it feels like an ass-pull

Backshley telling Sage that is the reason why Sage plants that video of Homelander & Stormfront for Soldier Boy to see. But, as is proven in real life, you cannot predict human emotions. Sage thought his love for Liberty would over power his love for Homelander, but Soldier Boy’s pride in Homelander (as he stated to Homelander) stems from recognizing him as the stronger version of himself.

I like the season, but it feels like they’re setting up ‘VOUGHT RISING’, introducing V1, bringing in Soldier Boy & Bombsight, mentioning Torpedo & Private Angel, and constantly bringing up Stormfront/Liberty instead of ending ‘THE BOYS’.
