I was just hoping to see Courtney reacting and see how she looks with her hand resting on her nose like before, but she doesn't do it anymore. I hope she does that hand pose again so I can subscribe again. <3 :'(

Jamal Robinson

this season of the boys doesn’t even compare to this season of invincible, i hope they start being more consistent with this show instead

dorkgrayson

Yay Finally! Been waiting for your reaction to this episode. No more blue invinciballs. :P

C. J. Ramirez

The ring of bodies was crazy around the planet

Cesar Vidal

I'm glad you guys were able to watch this episode because it had a lot of lore on why there was less than 50 Viltrumites and why Nolan was acting the way he was and it did answer some of your questions. I'm looking forward to seeing your next reaction!!! HEADS UP!!! it's not really a spoiler but a clarification... Grand Regent Thragg is NOT related to Nolan!! They're 2 separate people.

Kelvin_ 246

Yall ain’t ready for Thragg 😭😭😭😭

Kelvin_ 246

Yeah. Invincible in the long run has been a better show than The Boys

Joaquin garcia

the fact that Seth Rogen is in Invencible and The Boys is awesome

Dustin Nelson

Yep the parallel lines are the viltrumite logo. I don't think the regent and nolan are related tho

Osvaldo

Damn I went on vacation for a month and episode 2 only just came out? Hope nothing serious happened to cause the delay.

Darknite

This show’s season is literal fucking light years ahead of the Boys’ last season. Not even comparable in the slightest.

Darknite

What in the fuck..

Jamal Robinson

nah, they just wanted to watch the boys

Alvin Everett

Nolan’s redemption started when he left for space at the end of Season 1

carlos villagran

yes, as well as the emoji 🤭 but with a vertical hand

Justin Ry

Hi Molly, I could be your Allen

Mike Hunt

the lil aliens weren't caring for the Viltrumites, they were just straight up slaves

KrakenKing

Grand Regent Thrag, your game WILL be recognized.

The similarities of the boys and invincible is just coincidence, invincible comic did come out first in 2003 and the boys came out in 2006. Also the scourge virus would kill anyone with viltrumite genes including mark and Oliver, which is why Nolan agrees to go get his son and join the war because he needs to destroy the viltrumites so that thaddeus doesn’t have to use the virus and put mark or Oliver at risk.

The plot of The Boys show has also veered from the comics heavily. One example is how Black Noir was handled. In the comics, he is a clone of Homelander and is the one responsible for many of the crimes that Homelander is blamed for early on. In the show, Black Noir is a character with their own backstory.

“a gang of lil guys!” fried me

Seeing the near extinction of the Viltrumites from Nolan's view was so interesting. In the comics you read about the events but it's much more detached, more like a history book than a personal retelling. What's so incredibly fascinating is that previously in season 1 Nolan talked about the Viltrumite purge, where they eradicated the weak from their society. That event cut their population in half and yet by the time the scourge virus hits, there are still billions upon billions dead (that planetary ring entirely made from dead Viltrumites is one of the coldest visuals the show ever gave us, no contest). Imagine how huge the Viltrumite population must've been beforehand, if cutting it in half still left it in the billions.

Ew... simp
