4x5 is not for the weak ...

Fun fact: this is a storyline that Robert Kirkman wanted to included in the comic since the very beginning, but never got the time to do, so he decided to work it into the story, and will also be working in other original plot lines that he never got to add to the comic. I actually found it quite enjoyable, a nice break and planting the seeds of a future story. I think people are way too needy for action action action all the time and have such short attention spans. Like I said, Kirkman had many stories he never got to include and he will be including them and more, so get used to it. Also, Satan is voiced by Bruce Campbell of Evil Dead fame.

This is the weakest episode in the series imo but still not bad, like the quiet before the storm

Joaquin garcia

"Make Earth heaven, instead of imaginary one in sky" damn

Joaquin garcia

Dustin Nelson

I don't understand how anyone could by confused by whats going on it this episode, its pretty clear and plain

Yacemup69

Next episode is when shit starts to hit the fan and its purely main plot

Darknite

By a mile, the worst episode of the show (still not dogshit though like some people claim), but completely worth it with how great every episode is from 5-8

dorkgrayson

Bruce Campbell is amazing. Fun to see him in this show.

Darknite

The William voice change is terrible.

His monologue as Satan was powering up was so Ash coded. 😂

Richard Ramirez

Sooo this episode.. you can look at it two ways.. :D first.. compared to others this was one of the weakest episodes in the whole series.. or the second way.. this was a little breezer a more lighthearted fun episode before.. well.. yall see.. :)

KrakenKing

Yes, but really Ash Williams from Evil Dead.

KrakenKing

Agreed, the “confusion” felt kinda force, I won’t lie. 😂

liareacts

Yea it’s not confusing at all so I’m not sure why she kept saying it was. I can’t speak for her but I think she meant she was more confused on why we were getting this storyline and the writing choices for this episode. - Lia

While the episode was not the strongest, it was a necessary episode. The slower pacing was intentional. It was meant to match Mark's slow coming to terms, that sometimes killing is the only option and that doesn't make him a bad person. The reason they taught this lesson here in The Underrealm and not on the surface was so that Mark was pulled out of all of the stuff hppening there and it could focus on his healing. It was meant to be like stepping back and looking at yourself.
