This is one of the very few animes where the english dub is acceptable. Dragon Ball, Slayers and Cowboy Bebop are the others

Osvaldo

Yu Yu Hakusho has the best English dub of all time.

Leandro

Ah yes I forgot that one. There's just something about 90s anime ay, english voice actors back then were way better than English voice actors of the 21st century

Richard Ramirez

is it not possible to make 2 or 3 episodes per session? I mean you guys watched other shows that were like 40 to 60 minutes long soo. :D or Molly cant sit through 60 minutes??? :D :D :D

Jakob Eslinger

Alchemy was a real practice back in the day. Issac newton even practiced it. At its core it's about trying to understand matter. Many old alchemists gold was to turn base metals in to gold. A lot of the imagery and symbolism is based on real alchemist work. You might recognize some of the names thrown around if you read Harry Potter.

Episodes 6 and 8 are the first episodes with post credit scenes. I would look up a list of the episodes that have after credit scenes because later on they end up being important

Last thing I will mention, is that the reason the show starts so suddenly is beucase they already had made a version of full metal alchemist isn't 2003. The mana wasn't finished yet so they had a game of thrones moment where they had to make a different ending and the 2003 version goes in a different direction. So when they decided to remake it for brotherhood, they decided to make an anime exclusive episode to grab the attention of the people who already watch the original as they both star off the exact same.
