What is your favorite moment in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood so far? (No spoilers please! If you can choose any moment up til episode 12, that would be great!)

I will read all your answers and choose my favorite one! I would rather just choose one of you randomly to be more fair but Patreon doesn't allow that so I am going to choose one that stands out to me and is well thought out. This giveaway is available to all tiers.

Episode 3 when Ed is talking to rose about religion and God. When he brings up the story of Icarus after rose called him arrogant for putting alchemist on the same level as god. He didn't listen to the rules of alchemy and was confident in bringing back his mother and ended losing Alphonse's body along with his arm and leg. He doesn't believe in God because he still fully thinks he can do anything with alchemy. That's why he was so devastated with nina because he couldn't help her.

My most favorite moments don't happen until later. If I had to pick one from the first 12 episodes I would have to pick the conversation between Ed and the truth in episode 2. It's so creepy but fascinating. That or the funerals scene from episode 10. Hawkeys and mustang by the grave is a classic scene. Hughes daughter crying out why they put dirt on Daddy is heartbreaking.

So many good moments but my underrated moment is in episode 2, when mustang goes to granny's house to find answers to what they have done, and hes yelling and trying to interrogate the boys, but then you see Alphonse grab his arm and just say multiple times "We're sorry" in a trembling voice almost ready to cry, and you see edward just numb and dissociated a bit. The emotion I felt from that scene seeing those kids and what they had gone thru, but also seeing later them get that "fire in his eyes" got you in a roller-coaster of emotions in that episode, also episode 10 when mustang says "its a terrible day for rain" is also such a great line and emotional moment from an already tragic episode 😔

I love everytime Maes Hughes is on screen gushing about his family. It's always nice to see good loving parents in an anime for once.
