Galend

It's incredibly interesting how Robert is resigned to his fate. Ned probably considers asking the Lannisters for help against Bron. A bit sad we did get no further Daenerys scenes or her learning from Bron. Considering the dangers of a city of the dead what's there that's worth risking your life over. I am not as familiar with GOT lore what's at Asshai and why would it matter who holds it?.

MrPlotThickens

It's pretty much the centre of all magic in Essos. Spellsingers, aeromancers, warlocks, alchemists, necromancers, bloodmages, shadowbinders. All types of people love there. Bronn holding influence there means a large talent pool to recruit some meatbags.

Galend

I could see that be useful I'd he needed to make the North or Lannister lands appear cursed. Like he sends them out to create chaos could also be useful for his current campaign. Really hope for more Danaerys next chapter

Durrandon

Why did Bronn punish Illyrio by making him Prince of Pentos? It sounds like Illyrio had been a pretty good ally, but now Bronn has trapped him in a ceremonial position where the holder of the title is executed should Pentos ever suffer misfortune.

MrPlotThickens

What? No. He became a Prince with actual power and weight. Bronn purged existing Prince and Magisters who refused his will. Now Bronn has a king-like figure in his palm.

Durrandon

I apologize, I misunderstood. I hadn't realized Bronn had changed the role. I assume that the tradition where the Prince is executed during a famine or whatnot is gone now?

MrPlotThickens

Nah. That's not the case anymore. Pentos is like just another region of Westeros now. Just not under the Iron Throne. But same in faith.
