Woo is barely aware of her father's emotions so her mother's emotions wouldn't mean much to her. She'd disapprove of being abandoned because whales never abandon their young, but that's about it. As Moon Sang-tae, the autistic character in It's OK Not To Be OK said, 'When you're autistic, family are just close strangers'. Her mother is not a good person.

The Sodeok-dong Hackberry Tree gained protection status in 2015 and, thanks to this show, is being evaluated to become a Natural Monument now. It became a big tourist attraction with hundreds of people visiting it every weekend (it's less crowded nowadays after the show ended 2 years ago) and the buildings in the area leading to the tree have painted whale murals with Woo Young Woo quotes on them.
