The reason she presses under her ear when she sings is because she developed a condition in her ear around 2021 called Patulous Eustachian Tube Dysfunction which causes a discomfort when she sings. She talks about it in her documentary Pieces: Winter of a 29-Year-Old.

She confirmed on Berriz that fortunately the ear problem is much better and that she uses that pressure trick to increase the air pressure and produce a better sound 😊
