I made these little brainstorming sketches after I watched Alien Romulus. (I really liked the movie because it was a long time ago since any enjoyable Alien movie came out.) So I got inspired, but instead of making a big, detailed picture, many small ideas came to my mind :)

They almost look, well: ‘comical’, in their current rough sketch condition. Would love to see the polished final render. Love the peeking around the corner (victim emulation, perhaps?), and the flying/jumping sketch. I might just have to check out Romulus now. Thanks for the recommendation!

omg, a good alien movie?! i'd given up hope. Now I wanna see it. I like the top left one. contemplative alien. I wonder if they fidget with their inside mouth...

Cool dynamic poses. I really get the sense of speed from the orange one. As for the new Alien movie, I was pleasantly surprised by it when I watched it in theaters. The only problem I had with it is that I thought it was a bit too self-referential, but I'll take it after all these long string of mediocre sequels.

These look great! I love seeing the more “beautiful” side of the Xenomorph which was the original intent of the first movie design. Current versions focus too much on the monster side

These look amazing! Like something straight out of comics, as patient_zaero said. But this gives me a thought. How would You imagine the xenomorph, an evil predatory weapon, as something benign, even helpful? Others have done it, but I'm curious how you would do it.
