"Watching Over Them"

I wanted to draw this picture a very long time ago, but I guess I just couldn't find the feelings I wanted to portray. I guess it was worth waiting because I'm very happy with the outcome ^^

To be perfectly honest with you, I don’t think words can properly describe how beautifully you depicted this moment. Just looking at it makes my heart melt a little and puts a smile on my face. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one who suggested this too. All the same, this picture also makes me want to see more of how Alex and Gloria’s relationship developed from the end of Book Zero to whatever could have happened to lead the former to leave the latter, especially since they were practically set to have a beautiful life together with Lily. (I assume it was to protect his wife and daughter from those who would hunt him and his family down, but I guess that’s a topic for another time and place in the comic.) At any rate, beautiful piece of art, Zummeng. Here’s hoping this gets to be the vote winner for the month, (it’d be pretty fitting for this time of year, tbh, what with Spring being attributed to new life being born and all) and I hope to see more of Alex and Gloria soon, whether it be in Tree of Life, further sketches like this, or, who knows, maybe a side comic focused primarily on them and Lily later down the line, if you’re up for that. (Also wouldn’t oppose to you doing similar sketches for some of your other couples, if you pull on the trigger on them eventually having kids of their own, as a side note, potentially including a certain fennec fox and his snake wife? Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, lol)

This is so positively beautiful ❤️ I hope it wins ...but all it will take is one perfectly naughty pic and it will not win 😭. Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought of alternating cute and naughty with monthly suggestions? Like one month only cute/wholesome pics and the next month naughty/sassy and alternate from there? I think it would be a great opportunity for a lot of non-naughty pics to get the spotlight more 😊 (I am totally a fan of the naughty pics mind you...it's why I came here initially lol...but I do love all the awesome non-naughty stuff too)
