Okay, so clearly Lily is going through some abandonment issues with her father, this along with the fact that her and Alex’s destination seems to be just about wherever they just so happen to wind up, does raise some concern about just what the hell happened to Gloria and her relationship with Alex to prompt him to just leave somewhere in the 10+ years that passed since the ending of Book Zero. I imagine he just left suddenly one day, without warning, in an attempt to protect Lily and Gloria from the chaos, since Rah’Jan would obviously want to exterminate any other god aside from Luna that are still left in the world, even if it means bringing harm to those they love, but I fear what may have actually happened could be more serious than just that. It’s also very depressing, and perhaps telling of the current state of things, that none of the Knights even know that Alex is one of the gods, and the fact it seems he has to act as such despite having accidentally revealed his apparent connection to Luna hours earlier, even dodging Leo’s question about his true identity. It does make me wonder and hope all the more if tagging along with the Knights on their first mission could be just the thing he needs to gets some hope for himself, the quest he seems to have abandoned and maybe even the future of the world back, as well as find the means to patch things up with Lily and Gloria, if the latter is even still around. On a side note, I find Nigel’s smirk as he’s talking about Alex’s “strong opinions” about the team kind of funny. It’s almost as if he’s thinking to himself, “You know what, I might actually like this guy”. lol

I have feeling, they all haven't found themselves. All are lost on the journey ✨️ It's a miracle or divine intervention they are alive or... fate is changing the way the cards land. We shall see though, we shall see.
