Now it looks like it’s almost finally time to learn more about Luna and the truth about how the world of Tree of Life began. I recall Zummeng saying at one point that this story takes places several millennia after the fall of human civilization and it looks like we’re about to see just that. However, considering this story is being told by Mira, as well the fact that Luna doesn’t remember anything involving her former life as the god of the old world, something tells me it’ll read off like either a bedtime story you would tell your child to lull them to sleep, or an old legend or myth that may hold some truth as to what happened, but not entirely. I have a feeling that if and when we hear Alex’s version of the story or see for ourselves how things really began first hand, at a later point, the details of how it all happened may be significantly more complicated and complex than how Mira is about to describe it. Who knows, some details may turn out to be false, made up, exaggerated or the complete opposite of what actually happened, based on how some people want others to believe about the Tree and the world’s beginning. Not to mention, knowing Nigel, he’s more than likely going to be the one member of the team who’s going to try to call out some potential bullsh*t on the story obviously because of his disdain of Luna, but then again him complaining about the potential inaccuracy of the story may wind up holding more truth than even he suspects. But for now, this is just a theory of mine based on a single page that isn’t even finished yet, so I guess we’ll see eventually. Speaking of which, also based on this page, seeing what looks like a modern human city, the subsequent ruins of it and a human skull, I think I have an idea on what the Lukara’s city is going to look like and what that piece of bone may be for and why they would want it, but for the sake of avoiding potential spoilers I won’t divulge much more than that. Either way, looking forward to the world building next week.
