I see some of the sisters have some doubts about Shen. Topaz is nervous about talking to him since he’s still a stranger to her, Neptun feels he wouldn’t like her very much, Amber finds him boring on the surface and Ivy just doesn’t seem to like him, though she in actuality may just be overly jealous of Zaphira finding a husband before she did. To that I say: Girls, what the hell is the point of meeting your future brother-in-law if you’re not going to try to get to know him better? Why don’t you just go over to him and hear him out, especially since he is literally sharing his life story, right now? I think you’ll find him to be a more interesting and nicer guy than he may seem that will absolutely like you. At the same time, I do worry if Ivy’s going to try something to somehow “prove” a point about Shen to Zaphira and her sisters that only she sees about him. Also, wouldn’t Zaphira being called “our little sister” by Venus imply that the former was the last of the sisters to hatch? Just saying.

Kinda interesting that this group doesn't like Shen for kinda shallow reasons. But also... it is interesting that they seem to reflexively not like him. Which is fine, Shen can't have everyone like him all the time. I wonder what bug is up Ivy's nose
