50 bucks that village has been raised to the ground

Life choosing Nigel to be an oracle "Oh this is going to be so funny. Wait till Luna hears about this "

Oh man I can't wait for them to find this village, I'm curious what sort of new people they'll meet

Proving once again that life has an often weird if not cruel sense of humor sometimes, we learn here that Nigel’s true destiny in life may be to become a messenger of life itself, as if the world didn’t have enough to deal with. Although, at this current point, I would hardly call Nigel’s peeking into the future “willing”, as so far his visions usually come to him while he’s trying to sleep, the last moment in time you would want to even see whatever absolutely insane event the future has in store for you. It’s interesting to think that life itself has a will of it’s own in this world, kind of like the Force in Star Wars, with it’s voice being heard only towards and through Luna and the oracles. I have to imagine, however, that oracles may very well be a rare breed among mortals, and I fear for Nigel’s sake the possibility of there being a caveat of some sort to making use of such a power. As Alex stated, it’s obvious that Luna blinded Nigel to ensure he wouldn’t be able to pay too much attention to the world around him thus distracting himself from reaching his full potential, which based on his usual sarcastic snark there, isn’t doing much to improve his current viewpoint on Luna as a person, to put lightly. And yes Alex, you most certainly underestimate how troublesome Nigel can be when it comes to making things easier for Luna. The real question there, though, is how effective will Nigel’s future sight be once he gets his normal sight back. Also, I see Mira is stepping into that big sister role quite nicely with Lily here. Letting the latter ride on her shoulders on the way to the village they’re heading off to is just so adorable. I’ll admit that the prospect of the people of the village that Alex is leading the team towards having a shortcut or mode of transportation that could get them to the Lukaras sooner does sound promising, but my gut is telling me that, one way or another, it’s going to be a prime example of the phrase “too good to be true”, especially with him saying “if we get lucky”. I’m already having the feeling that worst case scenario the shortcut or transportation could wind up NOT taking to where they actually need to go and thus cause the trip to the Lukaras to take longer, or will have such a high risk factor for the team at it’s current state that it turns out to not be worth it in the long run and cause them to have to take the long route anyway. Not to mention, Alex’s saying of “if we’re lucky” seems to suggest that the people of this village won’t just give this shortcut or transportation to just anybody, especially if they don’t trust them. We also can’t disregard Rah’Jan sending out the chaos horde to ambush the Knights, as part of his little “test” to see if they have what it takes, either, which at this point seems to be highly likely that it will happen at that village, which also presents the possibility of the shortcut or mode of transportation and/or the means of getting to either/or being destroyed or cut off during the attack, thus, again, forcing the team to go the long route anyway. If the team wants to fulfill their first mission all the more sooner, they’re going to have to bring their A game, both in terms of gaining the people’s trust and keeping the village safe from the chaos beasts when they attack.

Luna taking away Nigel’s sight so that he could focus more on his visions makes a lot of sense as to why she did it.

Have to say I even if it's a big thing I still hope Nigel becomes more than just an Oracle. I kinda think or at least hope that his connection to life might eventually let him heal himself and others. Gee he’s blue, he can see the future, and he might be able to heal others. Wouldn't that be ironic the knight who started his journey hating Luna might become the most like her.

They've been traveling for months according to that messenger in the evil castle from before. Come ON Nigel, LEARN HOW TO USE A WALKING STICK ALREADY!
