You could put a gun to Emery's head, and she would still find a reason to laugh and pull a prank on you. No matter how hard life and fate treat her, nothing can break her good mood and optimism. Is this because she's too dumb to understand the weight and consequences of the things that happen around her? Or is her willpower too strong for anything bad to break it? Maybe she's acting like that on purpose to hide something? Even her sisters don't know the answer yet.

If depression could materialise in a physical form, it would still have a more cheerful personality than Neptun. Even on the brightest and sunniest day she would only see the shadows. Either she couldn't learn that trying to look at the bright side of things can do wonders with the health of your body and soul, or maybe, based on her life experiences, she sees no point in believing that every night will end eventually.
