Behemoths are worse because they not only are machines of destruction, they also know how to aura farm.

I see Rah’Jan has been playing Left 4 Dead.

worse than something with a spine cannon?

Interesting to see that we’re now getting a sense of the hierarchy of the enemy types within the Chaos hordes from Alex here. Husks being your mostly basic zombie-like Chaos Beasts that, as we’ve seen before in the Prologue and Chapter 2, sometimes still can have certain abilities and traits that can make them more capable and dangerous than the average zombie especially in a horde like this and thus still shouldn’t be underestimated, Warriors being Chaos Beasts that are capable of using weapons, usually due to the person they were before being skilled in combat in life before being infected and turned, Chimeras being formally normal animals infected and mutated by the Chaos to devastating and near-lethal results, as the team experienced the hard way back in Chapter 3, and now Behemoths, these giant hulking masses of… I don’t even know that, with a name like that, no doubt is a particular type of beast one can tell is capable of some serious damage just by looking at it. The Chimera back up in the mountains was bad enough, how the team is going to be able to take down a monster like that, at least without Mira risking her life with her flames again, I honestly have no idea. Still, even a giant like that has got to have a weak point somewhere on it’s person. They just have to find it. Alex can help plenty with that of course, but I personally would suggest starting with an arrow to one of those glowing eyeballs on it’s back and see what happens. If that could work in Resident Evil, why not here, right? Nonetheless, I have a feeling the Chaos Beast types we’ve seen so far is scratching the surface in terms of whatever treats Rah’Jan still has up his sleeves for any possible situation. Besides we’ve already established Rah’Jan doesn’t just do these attacks at random like you would think at first, he’s smarter than that. For the most part, attacks like this one, from what we’ve seen so far, are planned, organized and have a clear target, not to mention we also know he has lieutenants that have a level of consciousness to them above the usual droves in the horde and evidently spies keeping tabs on Luna and the Knights’ current progress, so who knows, maybe these hordes could sometimes have field commanders keeping things rolling when Rah’Jan himself can’t make an appearance there. But I suppose we can’t make too many assumptions about the enemy without seeing proof of that firsthand. Either way, Rah’Jan and the Chaos’ threat to the world is only being made all the more clear with this current situation and the team definitely has quite a tough fight on their hands both here and moving forward.

Oof!! The boss from the previous level already downgraded to mook status that fast. Good luck with that, Mira.

Abbie Hunt

Unless Alex has some previously unsuspected divine power, it looks as if Mira will have to be the equalizer. I hope she is well rested and well fed.

So much lore. Where's Nigel and the "why didn't anyone tell us there's a reference guide to what these are called?!"
