"Priorities"

This sketch was based on a panel I sadly had to scrap from the comic. But I loved Zet drooling over food so much that I just had to save this panel somehow :D

Ohhhh, boy. It’s more than obvious just what Shen is in for at this point. First of all, it’s nice to hear that you managed to find a way to salvage a piece of content that you clearly wanted to put in the comic but couldn’t and make it so it’s works as a standalone sketch with extra details you normally wouldn’t be able to fit in a panel as small as it probably would’ve been. I especially like the addition of the lower torso of the dancer taking stage on the top part of the sketch, giving us a tasteful tease of what’s to come for the next few pages of the comic, especially as far as the full reveal of the dancer herself is concerned. ☺️ For those of us who’ve attended the Discord streams we know what’s coming next week, but for those of you on tiers that don’t have that perk, I won’t spoil what I’m talking about specifically, but I will say y’all are in for a treat on the next page. 😉 There’s also something very funny about the attention span of the guys here, because in a strip club the main attraction is normally meant to be the beautiful women taking the stage dancing seductively and undressing out of their already revealing clothes and yet we have these three guys not paying attention the action, so to speak, and being too busy being enamored at the delicious looking food that’s being delivered to them, Zet especially from the looks of his tongue physically hanging out of his mouth at the sight of it. All in all, really good sketch that’s definitely making me look forward to the next page of Prophecy 2. Plus, this sketch all but confirms that Basa and Zet are fair game in terms of sketch suggestions now, so that’s great. With all that said, this sketch does present one idea you could pursue every now and then. With this sketch being based on a panel for Prophecy 2 that you had to scrap, why not also do sketches on other cut concepts and deleted scenes from your comics you had in mind at one point but ultimately had to give the axe, maybe not always as exclusive sketches but as like something smaller you can do on the side and give us another thing to look forward to from you, maybe also fill the time when life happens to cause a delay in your usual work and release schedule. Just an idea for you to potentially consider, if that’s does sound like a fun idea to you. Either way, great job as always, Zummeng. I’ll definitely be looking forward to the next page of Prophecy 2 all the more after seeing this and whatever it is you have in store for us with the 700th sketch. (Also, don’t be surprised if you see one or two sketch suggestions or even questions relating to the Wet Oyster from me or somebody else here. I for one am just waiting for the flood gates to open as well as next month to pull that particular trigger, so be prepared for that. 😉)
