When I tried to come up with a “fantasy strip club," I really wanted the whole place to look like a strip club immediately at first glance. So I looked up a few strip club references and tried to put the whole thing back with a few hundred years and sprinkle it with a little fantasy feeling.

Unlike the Genie's Lamp, I tried to keep this one closer to an Egyptian setting, so I gave everyone working there clothes that would fit the residents of Oasis.

Also, while coming up with the place, I realized that a silent strip club would be weird, so I came up with a small band providing the background music for the dancers.

Read it too fast and got The Wet Oyster Concert. Going from cover charge to cover songs!

Yes, it's hard to remember that in the days before digital music, CDs, tapes, and records, that if you wanted music, you actually needed an instrument and someone to play it. Anyway, yes, strip clubs have a very distinctive look, so it was easy to pick, even if not for the name. Anyway, love the decor, and the musicians look cute.

Others have said the same, but I really like seeing the "behind the scenes" design for this place. Very cool and fun to see this part of the creative process!
