Hmm what an odd looking door indeed, must be magic of sorts

Myhairhasamindofitsown

Mmmmm are the lukuras... What remains of humanity? Also, I'm not sure if the villagers happiness will last once they see what the village has been reduced to.

Revan Delmore

Surprise lost technology appearance! Panel 4 is a great shot of the doors opening and villagers rushing out. I also really like the person face-planting at the top of the last panel. Finally, no sign of our other 3 heroes...

Sockets

Face plant child "OOF" The other heros are probably in the infirmary getting fixed up. Post apocalyptic theme is post apocalyptic

Forge27

I don't think they'll be happy when they see the new parking lot

Wild Space Saga

Well, we have good news, and we have bad news ...

pokediginut

That is fascinating good news, I’m so glad you’re all ok. Now WHERE TF IS MY BABY!!??

Michael Michael

They are the champions of Life. Wait until the see the new masive parking lot.

Muddypaws

I’m wondering how long before they realize one of their team …, may not have made it?

Muddypaws

I’m waiting for, “You maniacs! You blew it up! Ohhh damn you all to heck!”

Muddypaws

Probably from director John Cameron

StumpedMoose

Very interesting gate... But where's Tristan?

Powerjugs

Well. That's at least the lesser of evils; buildings can be rebuilt. People, less so.

VasirrKhajiit

Where’s Tristan? Is he alright?

Michael Spoto

Let's hope they're still grateful once they see what's left of their town.

Tigers Claw

Boy, I must say, the bunker looks quite a bit more advanced compared to what the people of the current world are currently capable of, in terms of tech. Even has an electronic keypad and everything. Bunkers like these are usually man-made in our world today, so the fact that this one is apparently property of the Lukaras as Mira said definitely seems to imply a lot about them and their possible connection to the old world. In any case, the mayor most certainly believes the team as the Knights of Life now. I sure hope the villagers won’t be too angry or ungrateful about their homes being destroyed, though. On the flipside, there’s still no sign of Tristan, even amongst the crowd of people leaving the bunker. Maybe he’s in there somewhere with Chili and Nigel, hopefully getting treatment for his wounds, if there is a way to treat them in there. For now, we can only hope for the best for monkey boy until we can eventually confirm his survival for certain.

Abbie Hunt

I'm more intrigued than ever by the Lukuras. The pictures of them we've seen don't look human, but their technology is pretty familiar looking to my twenty-first century human eyes. Are they are remnants of our species after tens of thousands of years? If so, they don't fit with Luna's origin story as related by Mira, yet Mira obviously knows about them. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode of Tree of Life! (Where Tristan better not be dead, darn it!)

ElderScrollsMekkan

Whoa... ancient high-tech... and it still works?!!? Where is it getting the power to run??? Looks like some military bunker from the age of humanity. Or a fallout shelter, maybe. Because those are definitely blast doors!

ElderScrollsMekkan

My guess, they've had to use this bunker before - and rebuild, being a coastal settlement. For example, hurricanes.
