Nah I’d stay in the vault

pokediginut

I hear ya buildings gone, so sad but least your alive, I’m about to be like the sister in Darmons of the Shadow Realm, I want to see my baby!

Teri Minx

I can't celebrate until I see that Nigel, Tristan, and Chili are ok.

The14th

They are taking this better than I thought they would.

ElderScrollsMekkan

GODDAMN I love these guys' spirit! Called it - like springing back from a hurricane!

clancey

Buildings can be replaced, lives cant

geph

I'm glad they were able to maintain optimism to rebuild

StumpedMoose

I was expecting the villagers to grief and possibly raise some pitch forks toward the guardians. Instead, their optimism remains steadfast.

VasirrKhajiit

At least they’re staying positive

Muddypaws

Never give up never surrender! I always love that can’t do attitude.

Abbie Hunt

Makes me wonder if some of them have seen what the Chaos does to villages like theirs? For example, the Book 1 prologue.

StumpedMoose

It's quite possible that a few that survived their encounter with them might have been displaced here with little to no choice.

Tigers Claw

It’s always important even in the face of hard times to try to maintain some level of optimism and move on ahead anyways. It’s good to know the villagers go by this principle instead of giving in to despair and anger like others would. It is unfortunate that their village couldn’t entirely be saved, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t try to start over from scratch. As the mayor said, buildings can be rebuilt, but people’s lives cannot be replaced. Without the people, you have no village after all. With that said, I wouldn’t blame some of the villagers if they opt to just live in the bunker instead, since it seems to be much safer than the village in the moment of a chaos beast attack.
