The thing about these sorts of parties is implicit (barely) in the name. "Are you SURE you want to get married to this person?" And for Shen and Zaphira, the answer is yes. Also Zaphira has a secret that she wants to tell Shen first

At long last, we see our happy couple is reunited with each other. I bet they’re especially glad to see each other after what went down in their respective farewell to freedom parties. They really should be honest about what happened in them, though, so that there won’t be any shellshock about Shen hanging out at the strip club right before getting married for one thing. There’s also the matter about Ivy in particular and her dumb attitude towards Shen being Zaphira’s groom, so that the whole family can find a way to come to an understanding of one another before it becomes official. Zaphira can’t keep quiet about that forever. It really does seem like the only way Ivy might change her mind about Shen is if he has a word with her himself, but he can’t do that if Zaphira doesn’t even mention that issue to me first. Plus, since the couple is finally alone together with each other again, now would be a good time for Zaphira to finally divulge that secret of hers to Shen, like she’s been trying to do this whole time.
