Wow. Nigel's a prick. But I assume this is part of his extended revenge tour against anything the Tree likes and stands for, since she denied him his parents' love. Since the parents are so shallow to think that just because a child isn't immediately taken to be a guardian, then he's useless. Makes me wonder if Nigel's little brother came out any better.
