Interesting that they have the concept of 'machines' considering the setting. I mean they have carts and stuff, but they don't seem to be using anythig more advanced than that.

I wonder if Mira and Chilli won't get the nomination, get outraged, cause a scene, then shadow the new guardians to prove themselves anyway, then find out they were guardian material the whole time and just needed the push to excell instead of resting on their laurels.
