Panel 1) Nora, when people say you're a dirty wife, they meant you have a dirty mind and not being covered in dirt. I feel like Nora is like this either 1) because she kinda likes getting on Christopher's nerves to break his otherwise stoic resolve or 2) massive rebellion from being a high class hooker, who probably had to bathe and have a routine that was very strict in order to please customers 3) or maybe a little bit of both
