🌟🍯 TWO sweet, honey-related audios in one week? Maybe I should start calling y’all the Beehive… my honey bees… 🐝 Nah, Feral Angels is too iconic. 😇

When Kelsey and I were planning this month, she suggested Plant Guy Pt. 2, and it was an immediate YES. 🌱 Greenhouse Effect was such a fun audio to create—both in performance and editing—so I was hyped to jump back into the story. It’s about time our audios had more sequels, right? Continuing and developing relationships through these stories is such a fun challenge as an actor. 🎭💚

After submitting this one, I immediately texted Kelsey to say I was proud of the sound design—which was true! 🎧 Unfortunate for me, it did involve another early-morning, pre-deadline edit (classic 🫠), but somehow those always bring out my best work. While editing, I realized just how much I enjoy making audios immersive. When I record, I imagine myself in the room with the listener. But when I edit, I imagine being the listener. Every little detail—panning, proximity, echo—is based on where the listener “is.” Even subtle things, like muffling audio when I’m moving away, or adding a little extra reverb to loud moments (like the climax 😏), are so satisfying to get just right.
