A collaboration with The Boyfriend Collective has been long overdue 🖤. With Adrian 2.0, I’m all about more collaborations, so of course, I had to turn to these lovely folks for another incredible script. Scrolling through their collection, I found a few stories that would’ve fit me perfectly… but then I read [Motorcycle], and the challenge of the edit immediately sparked in my brain 🏍️💨—a challenge I had to take on.

I was very relieved that the entire audio wasn’t just us on the motorcycle—because wow, my levels would have been insane. But that little snippet of us actually riding through the city? That was hands-down my favorite part to edit 🎧✨. The sound design was simple but so satisfying: dialogue EQ’d to feel like I’m right in front of you, an onboard motorcycle effect (*SoundQ had a ton), wind whipping past, and a subtle city ambiance. At first, I worried it’d be too loud, but then I realized—that’s exactly how it would feel if we were really out there, riding through the streets together.

One thing I love about a TBC story is that it’s never confined to just one place. I know, I know—a contradiction to my former stance on locations 😅. But to truly tell a full, fleshed-out story that captures the depth of a relationship, you need that movement. And this script? It was all about movement—not just through the city, but in how the relationship developed so naturally.
