Hi Papsikels,

what Army or model units you would like to see Next Year? January 2024.

comment down below. I will pick the top 5 suggestions and we will do a poll in 2 days time.

Comments

Galhadrad

Jurassic dinosaurs and park-testing humans, and more Spaceship Troopers and Arachnoid enemies!

Akis Beloved

Normal dinosaur beast masters. Not xenosaur. Like if they hunting during Jurassic period.

Space Studio

We did ozzes, maybe the mimics could be fun.

Derek Adams

I know it's selfish but I'd like 1 last guyver release so we can have the zoalords

Brad Simpson

𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄

Eric Chan

Robot exterminators

Mou' Kill

An Oddworld army with Slig, slog, mudokon and glukkon, look like Tau Empire, the planet has been conquered and is part of the Tau Empire.

Glen Butler

Not sure if you ever saw the show... But your style would work great for Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, would fit nicely with your cyberpunk line as well. Or perhaps some of the Henshin series like Kamen Rider or Kikaider, kind of inline with the Bio Booster line.

Wesley Castro

Halo UNSC / Covenent / Banished / Flood / Forerunners / Human PMCs / Spartans

Mou' Kill

That will be so fun, Glukkon take the place of Ethereal, mudokon for Kroot and slig for shas'la for exemple.

xZombi3x5layerx

The Martians from Mars Attacks. I think it'd also be cool an army of planet of the apes based off the reboot or prequel movies since the new one comes out next year.

Brad Simpson

Necromorphs, inhuman Necromorphs, EarthGov, the C.E.C., Unitologists... There's a lot to draw from

Douglas Craig

I may be the only one on the planet who wants some figures based on the Screamers scifi film from 1995 starring Peter Weller

Papsikels Miniatures

so many awesome suggestions. my head are about to explode haha. i will close the suggestion post tomorrow night after that we will do a 2 days voting :)

MonCapitan

Power Armour Marines / Spec-Ops, but nothing like Fallout (very recognizable helmet), Warhammer (bulky shoulders), Iron-Man (too slim, and the helmet), Halo (helmet again) or any other large generic franchises. Think "Cyberpunk Dystopia Megacorporate Elite Security", where regular security officers aren't enough, but the response from robots would be too predictable...

Brad Simpson

Realistic Pokémon ⚡ Trainers & Monsters

Brad Simpson

MegaMan Legends 🔩 (Ancient Robotics & Treasure Hunters)

Nicolas Macler

Power Armor marines for Usmc Aliens or More Aliens Variant or Aliens Fireteam élite marines with différent weapons or More Flamethrower MARINES 👍😜

Donald Chase

Super Sentai/Power Rangers or any Tokusatsu would work

Slidernova

Love to see some stuff from the spawn universe and redisigned dc/marvel characters (Papsikels look on venom and green lantern would be amazing) of course more guyver and star empire

Sad Daddy

Kamen riders. More guyver. Dunbine style bug mechs. Fancy mechs like five star stories. Bigger mechs that are like vehicles for your characters. I'd really like some graboids type subterranean worm monsters. All with your signature spin on them.

L Byrne

Transfer Legacy and Uprising stuff..

Mario Schäfer

Star Trek Characters, Teams and respective Space Ships (not the same model size of course :-D )

Sad Daddy

Take your skull hunters in two directions? One that is more primitive and all weapons and armor if any are organic. Maybe different varieties like worker ants and soldier ants right? Closer to xenos? Then take skull hunters in the other direction. Super teched out. For hunting even badder prey maybe super machine hunters

Julian Bonecutter

This is sort of a wide open option, but would give the most opportunity to flex your creativity... But a whole range of alien species sci Fi space pirates. Always more predators.

Mario Schäfer

Marvel Super Heroes each in several poses for skirmish games

Mario Schäfer

8mm SciFi models (e.g. Skull Hunters, Aliens, some human armies etc) including tanks or larger behemoths, titans or whatever you want to call it

Mario Schäfer

Steampunk Cowboys à la Wild West Exodus

Terrain and Minis

Army of planet of the Apes / Star Trek / Riddick / Transformers

Kipples

Yes, I agree with Mario above: I'd love to see a ton of your stuff done for the 6-15mm range. Alternatively, really fleshing out the Alien RPG world with a lot more models would be grand? Although obviously there's a lot of room for proxies there. Finally, a range of models in that 'Infinity' style would be lovely if that grabs you. With all these, it's having a sufficiently large number of models to actually game that's key. A lot of designers do a really nice squad . . . then wander off to something else. But you can't really do much other than TTRPG with that. You do a *ton* of models, which is fantastic, so generally it's not too much of a problem here. But there are some lines that it would be great to have more options for? But generally I'm delighted with what you produce, thanks!

Sad Daddy

Some mechs inspired by Warframe that would be telepathically operated. Different styles for specialist roles like healers tanks, crowd control etc

Mario Schäfer

modern warfare miniatures (e.g. Commanche helicopters, special ops units, Mig31, F14 Tomcats, Leopard 2 tanks, ... ) either 32mm or 8mm scale ;-)

Mario Schäfer

and yes I know, the F14 Tomcat is not "modern", so let's say something in near history or current times :-D

Steffen Hofmeister

Yes this is what first came to my mind. Mars Attacks!

Colin M Reece

More Mad Max but maybe MM2 Road Warrior this time

Steffen Hofmeister

Mars Attacks! As I said above was my first thought... The second was "Krul"

Warren Beall

some sort of sleek famale tau type models like you did with your space elves early on

Emma Marx

Can we please do firefly? Please!!! I want that ship and crew!!

Emma Marx

Yakitori too!! I absolutely love the animal soldiers in it and the merc team themselves are so cool lol

Asytra

I'll be honest the latest Cyberpunk release really should have been a Sci-Fi release, although they are very cool models, especially the Armored Frame mechs. So with that said, I would vote for the next Cyberpunk release to get back to Cyberpunk, especially since we've had two very big games released in the genre, both digital with Phantom Liberty and tabletop with the new Cyberpunk: Combat Zone tabletop game. In fact I would LOVE to see some minis that would compatible with the Cyberpunk: Combat Zone game. It's a really fun and easy to get into alternative to Necromunda type skirmish games. Especially Gonks (minions basically) as it's super hard to find these right now, especially for Maelstrom.

Argrath

I very much agree that cyberpunk should be cyberpunk (or Shadowrun...) For scifi, we've almost had XCOM a few times. Would be great to see both XCOM and their alien adversaries.

Brendan Flood

I second the idea for more Cyberpunk, I'm running a Cyberpunk Red game and those are the minis in looking for. Things like corporate security, mercenaries, hackers, gang members, etc. There's a new Red book out talking about the gangs in the world and I'd love minis around them and others for the RPG.

Jérôme Lestra

More guyver, stargate and starship troopers. Star finder heroes will be very cool.

V Verdouw-Olges

Protoss from Starcraft 2. Everyone makes zerg/tyranids all over the place, she humans are a dime a dozen, but you'd be the FIRST to make good Protoss models.

Martin Haun

Stargate Models with Zat'nik'tel and the Heavy Staff Cannon.

Christian Meador

Another vote for Stargate. Or more Blade Runner.

Sebastian

Ahm according to google "Yakitori " are jap skewered chicken. I'm assuming it's some Manga/Anime reference. :-D

Emma Marx

Lol yes, yakitori: soldiers of misfortune! It’s a fun watch haha

Sebastian

Tyranids of knock-offs I've seen, but Zerg? But yes Starcraft stuff.

Sebastian

There's a guy out there who basically does nothing but Star Trek and Star Wars. Can't recall the name. Does it over Gumroad. Theoretically nothing against Star Trek being a trekkie, but it's out there.

Sebastian

Critters! :-D We're about 24 votes away in the Facebook group from hitting the 50 likes Paps said were needed to get them. They would fit in nicely in as an additional "alien threat". Should be easy to sculpt. Plus the two bounty hunters would be cool. Franchise done. :-D

Sebastian

The worms from Tremors. Don't think we have worms so far. There was also a movie from 1995 called Screamers, which basically had terminator-rats that borrowed through the sand. The "Terminator" Robots from the movie Space Truckers (1996) are pretty cool.

Sebastian

Maybe some of the Doom creatures and Doom Guy?

Sebastian

I would really love a set of Space Ranger figures, an obscure 1990s sci-fi series that was cancelled after 6 episodes.

Sebastian

Another little known sci-fi series from the 90s was Space: Above and Beyond. The had your usual Marines, which Cyber Forge has done, and really cool looking Aliens called Chigs.

Sebastian

He could do the Skinnies form the Starship Troopers game or indeed the different Troop variants from the Starship Troopers cartoon.

brody states

I would love some Halo ODST troopers as well as a bunch of other Halo stuff

Joe Addis Jr.

Would love to see Dead Space come along. LOTS of different monster forms, plus lots of armors to base humans off of, like creating a security team

Sebastian

Check out "Vor Growlers" from VOR: The Maelstrom, basically reptilian gorrillas.

Sebastian

Have you done Gremlins or Gremlin like creatures? Gremlins with AKs etc would be funny. Or indeed sci-fi Gremlins. :-D

Adam Barrett

Alien 3 - Prisoners/Inmates, Bald Ripley, Queen Facehugger/Chestburster, smashed up Bishop, Dog-Xeno (Xeno Runners), Weyland Yutani armed troopers, Peter Wayland... It has everything!

Maialen Sanchez

Yeah. It is one of my favorite novels, it took me years to get a physical copy.

Sebastian

I love reptilians / reptoids, so any reptilian inspired alien race would be great. Think humanoid reptilians, like Star Trek Cardassians, Hirogen, Jem'Hadar, Tosk or the Krill from The Orville, the Trandosha from Star Wars or the Drazi from Babylon 5.

Sebastian

Battlestar Galactica of interest to anyone? Classic vs Reboot.

Ryan

I would most like to see more Shadowrun models, especially metahumans. There are plenty of cyberpunk humans out there but much more limited dwarves, elves, orks, and trolls. If the focus is building armies for OPR, a corporate army based on Aztechnology or Mitsuhama could incorporate lots of shamans and mages while keeping a focused theme and visual identity.

D (Rob)ert Pemberton

How about Space 1999 figures, cast & crew, or Gerry Anderson figures, from Stingray to Thunderbirds etc. you could do 2 types, puppet like & more realistic! Or ABC warriors from 2000AD

Spaced Out

A thousand times yes! Would especially like the reboot if it came down to it

Sebastian

Hasn't he already done those? I know you can get those somewhere.

Sienna

Sangheilis or AKA the Elites from Halo

François Coray

I would like to see more civilians for alien world: colonists, workers, etc... non armed people for alien/ sci fi rpg.

Dan Holmberg

I would love to have more starship crew in multiple poses (standing, sitting, action, zero-g, reclining). Maybe one such crew person a month?

Dan Holmberg

Also, another vote for Stargate and Starship Troopers.

Joseph Plissken

Starship crew for games like Deep Madness, Nemesis , Endure the stars or Infinity defiance like miniatures to use in SciFi games

Robin Mankiller

Chronicles of Riddick Galaxy Quest More More MORE, Armored Core Robotech Valkyries MEGAS XLR Last Starfighter

Tom

Stargate SG-1 or Stargate Atlantis, still have a lot of potential unique stuff

Necreator

In the spirit of Guyver, maybe some Zonoid variations from the movies? Dark Hero especially.

Necreator

Outside of that, possibly some Big Trouble in Little China characters? That would be fun. Also if you considered the gaming industry, Gears of War would provide a huge variation on soldiers and monsters

Shawn Michaud

Dinosaucers or Dino-Riders would be epic 80's nostalgia

T Jones

The Matrix!

DaveRaptor

Bionicle Titanfall Hellboy Oban Star Racers More Xenomorphs from the games comics and novels

Stacy Young

Chronicles of Riddick Stargate Atlantis/SG1 2000AD - ABC Warriors, Strontium Dog, Rogue Trooper, more Dredd stuff Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and such Logans Run

Bruno

Hey man! Mi suggestions would be: Gears of War, Bioshock, Dead Space, Gremlins, Assassins Creed, Doom :D

B.I.G.Maiku

Mass Effect is a great choice. Lots of different factions that would fit in great across a wide range of games. Enough to do 2 or 3 releases at least. Geth inspired models would look amazing!

Papsikels Miniatures

Wow So many Great Suggestions. I will soon pick my top 5 and we will do voting soon!

Matthew Grau

More Alien, maybe some Starship Troopers

Slidernova

stargate atlantis and more sg1 would be great

Slidernova

Mega Man and Megaman X, would be fun to have the cyber/tech feel. A redisign where it has more an advanced feel for them

Donald Chase

Ok Mega Man/Mega Man X would be awesome as well

Matthew Snyder

dino riders and gears of war would be epic

Steven Bartels

The gangs from mystery men, big trouble little China,

Asytra

Excited to hear it! Your Cyberpunk lines were why I started backing, but I upped it to include scifi too because they are also awesome. :)

DistractionMan

Any John Carpenter file!! Big Trouble in Little Chine - Chang Sings vs. the Wing Cong!! 6 Demon Bag! Egg Shin vs. Lo-Pan!

Atlantica Juegos

The Thing (Carpenter ) or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or a crossover the two XDXD

Joseph Plissken

+1 i want the guyver hyperzoanoid final boss from that movie

Joseph Plissken

- XCOM - Screamers movie robots and survivors - Space sweepers Netflix movie - Terminators since we are missing some models for the tabletop game

Pete Pedro

I know im late, but if I had a random wish it would be the cast of the Burbs! The Klopeks! Ray Peterson in his pajamas/ robe, Mr Winegardner in his golf attire holding military radio, the veteran Mr Rumsfield wearing camouflage Bush suit rifle slung over shoulder holding second military radio, Walter holding his dog Queenie, Mrs Peterson, Mrs Rumsfield in her nightie! The meatball next door Ricky Butler! This could potentially be a game but I myself would love to see the figures. OH and the Big trouble and Little China suggestions!! Just pLeaze don't forget Gracie law and Miao Yin!! So lo-Pan can have 2 girls to tame the burning blade 🤣

Bucky Skolmoski

Xenomorphs runners, drones, and warriors. Aka the bio mechanical smoke stack stuff on back (not spikes) and then more standard heads. maybe make it so the heads are interchangeable. Smooth heads, rough heads, and then the runner styles from alien 3. You have an amazing collection of basically all other xenomorphs but you are missing the basic warriors to allow for easy use for count as tyranid or count as alien hives. Truly you have the full collection EXCEPT the basic warriors ( I know you have the skull hunter hybrids and then you have the I think you call them brood warriors but those do not have the full feel that things like your brood mother has. Just waiting on those and then BAM people can come to you for a 1 shop stop for a full army of xenomorphs. w

Bucky Skolmoski

You already made basically 1:1 neomorph:protokeelers. So why not make the xenomorphs too (:

Markus Kraft

(more) STALKER and Enemies pls !

Markus Kraft

STALKER the Video Game Series (Post Apoc)

Markus Kraft

Oh and i would kill for Firefly Characters (multiple Poses) and Enemies ! (TV Series and Movie)

Markus Kraft

Another Fantastic Theme would be Mass Effect and Enemies -> Geth, Collectors etc !!!

Douglas Hamill

Mass Effect all factions, XCom, The Expanse, gladiators (Ancient, modern, and cyberpunk)
