WEREBEAR || DARKWOOD FOREST (Patreon)

Introducing the Werebear. Werebears, like their Werewolf counterparts, are a much rarer breed of creatures. Werebears are also the result of transformative spell from a white witch. However, unlike werewolves, the spell was not cast to create protectors, but was rather cast to protect the one transformed. During a witch trial held by the villagers of a town, a white witch and her lover were to be burned at the stake. With the last of her power, the white witch cast the transformation spell upon her lover to save him from death. As a result the villagers were torn apart by her lover, who carried her off into the forest where she died in his arms from the burns. Werebears are more rageful in nature, and less trusting of humans than werewolves. They are usually solitary creatures, and rarely live amongst themselves in groups.
