Next Steps: Remaking Plugins - Improvements for Assetto Corsa (Patreon)
Content
Over the past two years I’ve released several plugins for ETS2/ATS, Assetto Corsa, BeamNG.drive and GTA V. Unfortunately, every single project turned into a disorganized mess: no shared codebase or base library, everything crammed into poorly named files, duplicated code everywhere. As a result, updating, fixing bugs or adding new features has become a nightmare.
That’s why I’m taking a big step back.
I’m currently working on a new Assetto Corsa lighting/overhaul plugin (fully standalone - no CSP/Pure etc required), but before finishing it I’m first building a clean, modular core library that I can reuse across all games and all future plugins.
Once the library is ready, I will completely rewrite every existing plugin from the ground up

BeamNG plugin
And it will be used for new plugins for other games I am planning to work on.
The new versions will be
Much cleaner and better organized
Easier and faster for me to maintain and update
Designed from the start to play nicely with other mods/plugins (no more random conflicts whenever possible)
Packed with new features that were previously too painful to implement
On top of that, I’m creating a tiny standalone launcher (.exe) that will let you install, update or remove any of my new plugins for any supported game with literally one click.
The whole point of this big rework is simple: you, the players, should spend less time troubleshooting and more time enjoying the games. Fewer crashes, fewer “mod X broke mod Y” situations, automatic updates, and a smooth experience overall.
Thank you for your patience <3
