I watched this on 1.5 speed so all of the raps on Build up were VERY fast and very exciting, lol. Seeing Dangerously on this list reminded me that while watching Asia Super Young one of the groups also performed that song and I, thankfully, watched Build Up late so I could enjoy it but, you are right, no one else can sing that song now.

also, sorry for the spam comments, but there is some drama with Peak Time, mostly around knetizen reactions to things, but there is an idol on Peak Time (Karam) who was in a BL with Leo (a member of VIXX) and I think you should watch it (doesn't have to be reacted to, I just think you need to see it cuz I want to know your thoughts) called Happy Ending Romance!

As another woman beret, I would also like to pitch Wild Idol. 1. The first few episodes are like military camp so half the men shirtless and working out, so plenty of eye candy to start off with but that is not all the show is. 2. The talent levels are the most transparent out of any survival shows possible (separate singing, rapping, dancing evaluations) on top of skill evaluations that are not acknowledged as much as they should be (such as facial expressions and improvisation skills). 3. You get to see people you already love (Jaejun, Kamden, and Gunwook) and see their skills more wholistically (you will FINALLY see how good Gunwook is as a rapper). and 4. It explores leadership roles in an interesting way and different leadership styles and the mental load that being in nature and in high stress environments cause.

For very selfish reasons, I would recommend Produce X 101, especially after watching Peak Time and Build Up (this can also apply to The Unit, which is on YouTube). On top of that EXchange 3 (+ EXchange 2) introduces Woodz and Yohan. Produce X is an important show for understanding their journeys post-X1. As a Moodz, I would say that this is the best piece of material to get to know Woodz - he is not only an amazing producer but also an amazing all-rounder idol.

Just dropping a comment to advocate for Makemate, I need another live show to follow to make days of the week exciting again. And I don't care if you guys are behind on covering it. But also I will watch whatever show you guys pick because I love you! The Build Up era was just perfect cause I could look forward to new build up episodes on Fridays, then your &audition reaction on Mondays and then your build up reactions and recaps following that. There were so many days of the week to look forward to it was great! (sorry I'm an office-pilled salaryman-cel and these are the little joys in my life, if it sounds sad just avert your eyes)

As a femberet, I also vote for Wild Idol. It's got several beloveds in it already, and while I'm always here for the girlypops that Makemate promises I'm not thrilled that all the contestants are 21 and under. I'm also just not willing to get attached to a girl group that wakeone is going to inevitably mismanage like they've done to Kep1er and it'll just be depressing to see them give a fraction of the resources and exposure post debut that enhypen got just bc they're a girl group. I'd love to be proven wrong on that, but I don't think I will be.

I'd LOVE if y'all did single series recaps! I always hear you mention the other bls you're watching on your own and want to know you're thoughts, but like you said not every one really deserves an ep-by-ep recap. Lives are always fun, tho I always miss them and get a bit of fomo having to watch them later, so I'd personally be more down for just 20-40 minute vids of u rambling about your thoughts on a series. Maybe drop em on patreon as a bonus on varieday, but w/ no set schedule just whenever you finish a series that you want to chat about it.
