I never realized what a bummer ep 18 is if you can't watch ep 19 right after it. I do think the concept of it is good for showing the depth of Suyu's love for Wubi since Wubi has mentioned multiple times how the circumstances around his mother's death haunt him and I do think Suyu wants to bring Wubi closure repair Wubi's relationship to his father since he wants him to feel familial love (not just brother lover love). But did they drag it out too long? yes.

This show has established that Su Yu is the smartest guy around and him being too smart for his own good is such a good flaw. And he's also been shown to be so stubborn, of course he can't let this go. Wild! But so good (that ending kills me though. At what point does all this waiting and watching Su Yu suffer turn into trauma porn, I mean??? If I had watched this in real time, I would've gone crazy waiting a week)
