So in the book Mao Chong's character is like really conventionally handsome, like...Idol like in a way and Gu Hai was jealous of his friendship with Bai Luo Yin and insecure about BLY finding his friend hotter than him. I think Gu Hai was hot in a more...manly man way? In the book his dad is a general in the military

In their love-den annex the each have their own bedroom. What was Su Yu’s bedroom in the OG house is now Duo Duo’s bedroom. They moved over Su Yu’s bed frame shelving unit thing from the old room which is why it looks similar, but now Duo’s room (formerly Su Yu’s) has the bed in the corner with all the guns and things on shelves around it. They definitely share the same bed a lot regardless haha
