The I-land Thursdays are the highlight of my week. Like I don’t think that it is the best survival show for forming the group, but it’s the most entertaining one for me. I like that all girls are determined and have strong characters, but in most parts there is no hostility amongst them. IWALY is one of the best songs that came from survival shows, I hope that their sound in the future would be similar.

this episode was a personal attack 😭 favs against favs. The Saebi vs Koko truly hurt my heart the worst. Saebi has been my One Pick since the first episode and of course, I think she did the best... but I did want it for Koko. It's so sad that she called herself a boring dancer! 😭😭

while episode 7 was mostly BTS of previous episodes, there was one interesting clip where the girls are playing the don’t-drop-the-balloon team exercise game and jungeun and jiyoon are right next to each other. jiyoon could have chosen to stand anywhere else but they were at the start of the line together 🤔 they didn’t really talk but i thought that was interesting

Saebi vs Koko was the craziest match up, I wouldn't have known whom to pick, they both did amazing!!! I loved how earnest Saebi was in the backstage interviews with the self-confidence pep talks. Also really loved how Koko was just singing the same line over and over again in different parts of the compound and her repetitive mantra of "I'm an angry woman" hahahhahaha

It's so interesting you thought Sarang could be half Japanese, because there's somebody else on this show who's actually half Japanese. I think her having dual nationality was on the official profile from the beginning so some viewers always knew, but I know you are avoiding looking at anything that might give away the final lineup so you wouldn't know. Some of us wondered why her being biethnic wasn't featured more!

As a cdrama watcher too, Sarang and Zhou Ye are literally the same person, to the point where I couldn't unsee Zhou Ye doing unforgiven for the entirety of the first episode. Sarang has very standard Chinese beauty features imo, Jeemin Korean, and Mai Japanese
