y'all are actually hilarious because that is not what happened in this episode lmao. Tang Yi's ultimate goal is to white wash his crime syndicate but in doing that he is also going after the big dug dealers in the city. Which is what miss bobette was worried about, because he's playing in dangerous waters. What is happening is that the old guy is anticipating that it will soon be his turn, since his group also deals with drugs and proposes to give Tang Yi the list of the guys in Hsian Tian Group who work with him in dealing drugs in exchange with Tang Yi leaving them alone. Tang says no fuck you and that's when the scene ends

I was also terrified of lifts/elevators growing up so I feel your phobia @adam. Had to get over it when my dept was on the 5th/6th floor at Uni. And apparently double pressing the floor button does cancel the request in some lifts/elevators. Apologies for the UK/US conversions!! X

Ok so about elevators: I actually learned like last week if you’ve got two elevators (one on each side) with two different up/down buttons on each side both buttons call both elevators. So I was going to get on an elevator on the left and it was full so I figured I’d just wait for the one on the right and pushed the button on the right but it reopened the doors for the elevator on the left??? So Adam I agree elevators are already too complicated we don’t need to add anything else thank you.
