Jongho's Lee Mujin always fucks me up - he's so incredible and one of the best vocalists in Kpop (and the best in 4th gen, in my opinion), his foundation is so strong (also, if you're ever interested in seeing some emotional solo covers; San did 'Breathe' and Yeosang did 'Hug Me' - both wrecked me)

I guess as an Atiny I always assumed people knew Jongho was THE voice of the 4th generation but this proves one should never assume 😆 Jongho is also our baby bear 🐻 He may come off as a 48- year old ahjussi sometimes, but when he finally lets his maknae out there is literally no one cuter in the universe. Jongho's vocals are actually what got me into Ateez (and he's still my bias to this day). Everyone knows him for his high notes but I'm glad you watched this and got to hear that he's just all around a great vocalist and much more than just the high notes

So Jongho’s original trainee company discouraged him and really made fun of him for his vocals cause it didn’t fit the k-pop genre and he didn’t understand what he was doing wrong. It almost made him stop but he got the chance to audition for KQ and they scooped him right up. Also a person who wants to perfect his craft, after weekend one of Coachella stage he did a really high note during wonderland but it made him start to hyperventilate because of the crazy winds on stage. The next day he went back to LA and booked vocal lessons so it wouldn’t happen again.

Don't blame me I'm new here!! lol Jongho is an insane amazing vocalist! You should definitely watch his solo (cover of So You) on Immortal Songs and when he performed in a trio (Jongho, Eunkwang from BtoB, Seungmin Stray Kids) to IU's Love Peom. Just wait until you hear the other members insane vocals too. I hope you guys watch their killing voice episode because it really highlights Jongho and the other member vocals. I think because they are so well known for their amazing performance skills that their actual vocal abilities get overshadowed. This happens especially to San, who sounds like an actual angel lol. And Hongjoong's vocals are insane as well. If Jongho isn't there to sing his parts, it is usually Hongjoong that will take them.

Jongho is pretty undisputed as THE top 4th gen vocalist for a reason. All of Ateez are great vocally but people do tend to focus on their performance skills because yes those are utterly insane. But vocally they are all incredible. His previous company treated him like dirt because he’s very much more a classical vocalist than an idol vocalist. But KQ developed him and their sound suits him so well.

He is THE vocalist of his generation, without a doubt, people can argue with the wall on that one tbh. Seeing y'all moved to tears made me tear up too, I usually cry at his singing anyway but to see someone new to ATEEZ also have the same reaction is so validating!
