Oh, you know I am in the comments for the ship talk! For &team it's truly hyung line in their fixed pairings, and makane line mix and match to your hearts desire. I personally am a HaruMaki truther and I like Taki with Yuma. Jo has such ace-energy to me, I simply can not see him in any pairing, but I'm aware that people do try. There is some solid litterature to support all of my prefered ships, so that's nice, but Yuma in particular drifts around. And he's been real cosy with Nicho recently, so we'll see what works of art that might spawn.

Let me break it down with the japanese, but also let's keep in mind that I'm a white girl from Sweden basing all of this on my teenage years of manga and anime obsession. So Japanese has three alphabets. It's hiragana, that's like 40-something characters, and katakana, that are the exact same characters, just written a little different. Hiragana is used for everything, katakana primarily for loan words and expressions. So that's like 90 characters. Then there is kanji, which I think is originaly chineese, and they are super complex. The small letters you see above in the writing are hiragana that spell out the kanji characters they use. I don't know if this is for the sake of EJ and Nicholas, or if that's how it usually goes on TV, or just in general. I think newspapers and stuff primarily use kanji, but I'm not sure. Related, I ask all of us to consider how many alphabets Nicholas has had to learn. His first language is mandarin, so that's a whole thing, and then he learned english growing up, so that's our alphabet. Then he came to Korea and had to learn hangul, and then they sent him to Japan, which uses THREE ADDITIONAL alphabets. That is six different alphabets just swirling around in the brain of that boy. No wonder he never writes anything in the groupchat.

Hi. throwing my hat into the ring on shipping. i’m a terminal multi shipper and i throw pretty much anyone together but i encourage u to keep ur eyes peeled for a couple of dynamics that are so special to me: 1. nicholas/jo. nicholas is so endeared by jo’s entire being and kind of treats him like a gentle forest creature and jo is so shy and sweet under the attention. also they are rival basketball guys 2. yuma/harua. imagine 2 cats that fight all the time when they’re in the same room but then get mad at you when you try to separate them. they bicker constantly and it is very, Very cute 3. fuma/nicholas. nicholas wants to be fuma’s little girlfriend so bad and it is genuinely embarrassing to watch. mr cool guy over here starts giggling and twirling his hair whenever fuma does anything. we have to sedate him it’s the only way &team is such a beautiful group with such a wonderfully diverse shipping crop ❤️

Japanese has three alphabets, one normal one, kanji which is borrowed from Chinese, and another one used to spell foreign words. The one with Maki had all three.

I think K reactions is influenced by japan variety shows, since he attends a lot. And I remember Harua and Nico talk about how K reacts fast in what they are saying even their off cam. It's his way to tell he is always listening to them.

In this episode theres this bit that I just find soo funny and sweet, is at 21:50 of your video where Taki makes a joke and everyone is just dead silent so he turns to K and says "This is your fault, and K just sighs" cause is basically Taki saying "You raised me like this" I just find it sooo endearing
